The challenge


BRS was using an older online database-style Learning Management System (LMS) from a vendor who had announced they would no longer support the application. BRS needed an LMS that offered robust eCommerce functionality and a licensing model that would cost-effectively support the unique needs of their customers. Due to the highly regulated industries they served, BRS needed a SCORM-compliant, extended enterprise LMS to meet the extensive reporting and tracking needs of the regulatory agencies who provide licensing to their customers.

BRS wanted one vendor to hold accountable for their entire training delivery. Customer service is BRS’s top priority, and they could not afford to have vendors pointing fingers at each other if any issues arose. BRS also wanted to capitalize on the synergies available by using a single partner for all of their training needs.

In addition to an extended enterprise LMS, BRS was looking for a full service partner who could assist them with converting several hundred hours of content from the proprietary legacy LMS format into SCORM compliant eLearning course modules.

BRS has a full range of library items offered to the students within the Bert Rodgers Schools “university” including: manuals, CDs, eBooks, PDF learning guides, videos, iPad training modules, fast licensing “answer sheet” exams, to the more traditional full eLearning modules for courses such as the 72-63-45 hour Real Estate Licensing programs. BRS continually updates and expands their course catalog and educational offering working in conjunction with the eLogic Learning Solutions team.

Since its initial launch, BRS has delivered close to 679,000 eLearning modules and sold 262,000 courses in the past year alone, providing substantial revenue generation for the company.
