As a Florida-based company, eLogic Learning knows all too well the devastating damage and impact a hurricane can have on a community, a city, a state, and the lives of its residents. The destruction of property and displacement of family and friends can be widespread and entire businesses and homes can disappear in what seems like the blink of an eye.
The damage and destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey has been difficult to watch, especially since eLogic has many clients in the areas affected by Harvey. The organization has rallied together to find some way to help not only eLogic clients and their friends and family, but the countless others who now find themselves without a home, food, clothes, etc.
As such, eLogic has chosen to financially support the American Red Cross in their relief efforts. The company hopes the donation will aid Texas locals and their immediate needs while the full impact of Harvey and the future of the cities most affected is ascertained.
“We’re a company that places a high value on community and helping others,” says Mark Anderson, CEO of eLogic Learning. “Hurricane Harvey has left a devastating mark on east Texas and we hope that by making this donation and encouraging others to do the same it will help the residents of Houston and its neighboring cities get the help and assistance they so desperately need right now. This release is intended to encourage others to join in as well because FEMA is simply not enough.”
There are many local and national charities accepting donations to provide assistance, including the United Way, the American Red Cross, and a newly established Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund from the Greater Houston Community Foundation, which is taking contributions of all levels at: https://ghcf.org/hurricane-relief/.
eLogic is happy to be able to help (even in some small way relative to the magnitude of loss) and stands by its philosophy that “Everything Matters, Everyone Matters, Every Time …”
